KUALA LUMPUR: Pharmaniaga Bhd has appointed Mohamed Iqbal Abdul Rahman as the chief operating officer with effect from June 1.
It said he joined Pharmaniaga in April 2011 as the information technology director.
Pharmaniaga said Iqbal had 25 years of working experience in primarily information technology with the last five years as head of operations.
Pharmaniaga also announced Norai'ni Mohamed Ali was appointed the chief financial officer, with effect from June 1. She takes over from Faizatul Akmar Abu Bakar.
Norai'ni has 21 years experience in the field of accounting and finance and 16 years in management experience.
She joined Pharmaniaga in May 2001 as a deputy general manager, group corporate finance and held the position when Boustead Holdings Bhd took over the company in April 2011. Subsequently, she was promoted to procurement director.
